My Life is a charity working with people of all ages and abilities who need support to live a good life. From our North-West bases in Standish and Leigh, we help people in Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and parts of West Yorkshire.
Standish
Our base in Standish on the Greater Manchester/Lancashire border is an inspirational setting amid 84 acres of green land with our own woodland, animal farm and chalets for short breaks
This is where many of our My Life Opportunities sessions take place, and it's also home to Stable Door Cafe and Thompson House Equestrian Centre.
Leigh
Our fully accessible Leigh site is based within Leigh Sports Village, with state-of-the-art facilities including a leisure centre, swimming pool, running track and fitness centre.
With space for socialising and hosting our wide variety of activities as part of My Life Opportunities, plus excellent accessible hygiene facilities, our home at Leigh is both relaxed and comfortable.
This is an amazing place. Great activities for kids and adults. Every time we go we learn something new and have an amazing time. The programs they have for people are some of the best I've seen in the entire world. I highly recommend this place.

Home support in North West
My Life Support has teams helping people live independently with support across the North-West. Our HQ is in Standish and we do support many people living in Wigan Borough, but we've also had huge success with people in Lancashire, other parts of Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and right up to the Yorkshire border near Barnoldswick. If you need our help, we can come to you.
Out of area support
Many people with funding from social, health care or out of school provision are often concerned that they can only use that money in the county or area in which they live. We can help you navigate the system so that if you feel that My Life Opportunities' programme matches you or your loved one's needs and aspirations better than elsewhere, you can still benefit from our services.
