Saturday 6th July festival goers flocked to Thompson House Equestrian Centre in Standish for The Live Life Festival, the North-West’s inclusive Music Festival, organised by My Life and My Life My Way.
The event was a great day out for the whole family, with a wealth of live music performed by local acts including Gracie O’B, straight from The Voice Kids UK.
Other attractions included live comedy and cabaret, theatre, festival crafts, a trashion show, physical theatre, games, festival hair and make-up, circus, vintage vehicles, children’s shows, exhibitions and stalls.
Fully inclusive and accessible, everyone had the opportunity to experience a wide range of entertainment within a safe and supportive environment.
Lynn-James Jenkinson of My Life My Way said:
“We’ve had such a wide mix of people here today, which is brilliant. Lots of people have told me that this is the first time they’ve been to an event like this and actually felt so accepted, so we’re really pleased. Most importantly, everyone has had a great day out in the sun!”
Caroline Tomlinson, CEO of My Life said:
“We aim to bring people together to share new experiences and make new friends and The Live Life Festival encapsulates this. Everyone should have the opportunity to go out there and enjoy themselves – looking around at all the happy festival faces today, this is what life – and My Life, is all about.”
